There is nothing more special than spending quality time with your family doing something you all love. Flying remote controlled helicopters is one of those great hobbies that everyone can share.

It can fit into the palm of your hand and although it may look like a toy, it is a much more than that. The Syma S107G is able to move in all directions and is great at hovering. The aluminum frame makes it light weight but it is almost indestructible should it crash.
Using a gyro to operate, you will be able to fly the helicopter and adjust its flight path. The remote has two joysticks to control forward and reverse or even make the helicopter spin.
If you want to get a little more forward speed out of the helicopter you can move the landing gear forward on their mounts. Or you can tape a paperclip to the front to achieve the same effect!
The Syma S107G is very durable. Who wants to buy a remote controlled helicopter, have it crash on the first try and then not be able to use it again? This one will stand up to flying into walls, ceilings, sofas, or even a ceiling fan! Just cut the power the instant you see that you Syma remote controlled helicopter is going to crash and it should be fine.
The one downside of the Syma S107 is that being so light it won’t work outside if there is any wind. Also, flying it too close to any LCD televisions or light bulbs may cause it to lose contact with the controller.
Also the USB charger will continue to charge the battery even after it is fully charged so in order to not over charge the helicopter, be sure to stop charging as soon as the indicator light comes on.

Syma introduces the newest Syma S800G Helicopter that is head and shoulder above its previous micro predecessor. Completely new design, flight characteristics, the S800G combines the durability of the S107G, as well as the flight characteristics of a hobby graded product. This is the perfect step up from a micro 3 Channel helicopter.
The S800G’s flight is controlled by the swash plate, which allows greater maneuverability. It allows faster forward and backward movement, as well as side to side flight movement. Flying a radio controlled (RC) helicopter can take a little practice to get it right. According to eHow, the novice RC helicopter user should be aware of the fact that helicopters are considered by many enthusiasts to be the most difficult of the radio controlled vehicles to gain command over.
Basic Instructions:
Read the booklet that comes with the RC helicopter. You want to make sure you have the basic understanding of how the helicopter works, its parts and mechanisms before you fly your remote control helicopter.
Check the helicopter to make sure there aren’t any loose screws. Loose screws can lead to significant damage from parts falling off when you attempt to get your RC helicopter airborne.
Most importantly you will want to familiarize yourself with the different functions on the control panel. Most remote control helicopter control units have similar controls to real helicopters. The instruction manual will be a help with all the details.
Start by mastering the skill of hovering your remote control helicopter. This is a basic function but necessary in controlling the helicopter.
Once you are able to hover you can move on to more advanced techniques such as turns and dips. You need to consider that you will crash your radio controlled helicopter frequently as you learn to fly it. To minimize any damage you might want to consider starting on a grassy or carpeted areas.
The old adage that practice makes perfect is true for learning to fly a remote control or radio controlled helicopter. Once you get the hang of it, you will find hours of fun in fly them.
